This
design actually has several cultural
influences. It is an ongoing theme
in much of my artwork. My main influence
is Mexican, specifically the Oaxacan
folk art figurines. It also has Australian
folk art, and Northwest American Indian
artistic influences. I think it would
make a particularly bright and playful
sculpture that will appeal to people
of all ages and race, even if they
are unfamiliar with the cultural influences.
